AHSF is a minority general partner in the 230 units 9% Tax credit and HAP financed property.  Gardens of Daytona was purchased in 2001 for approximately 3.2 million dollars and the proceeds of the 9% credits funded an 8-million-dollar substantial rehab which included adding central air and heating to every unit, new countertops, cabinets, plumbing and electric.  Exterior roofs were pitched, and the units were painted inside and out, some units were converted to 4-bedroom units and landscaping and amenities were added.  The property achieves its LIHTC 15-year compliance period in 12/2018.
